WHERE I COME FROM
Having left school with no qualifications, I have always had a passion for sewing so when I was 31 I decided to finally follow my dream, went to university, got taught by some of the best tailors in the industry and then taught business at Manchester University myself. Through doing this I have become one of the most respected tailors in Yorkshire. Having set up my business in Doncaster and living in Doncaster for the past 30 years I have seen Doncaster thrive as a community and go through some of the toughest times to hit our community.

I don't come from a privileged background, with my Grandad working down the mines. My Dad being a Lorry driver and my mum being a nurse, but I came from a family that truly cared about me and taught me the values that I have lived my life according to.

Over the past few years, I have seen our community slowly deteriorate and despite the promises from the various MP's that I have voted for nothing has changed. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. So instead of doing the same thing I always do, I've decided to be that change.
WHY VOTE FOR ME?
The answer is a simple one because I care about our community. I actually live here and my business is based here so every decision that is made for this community by politicians who don't live here affects me, my business and my family.

So when I say I'm going to do everything I can to make change happen and be that difference you can believe it. I'm a strong and proud Yorkshire Women and I'm looking forward to standing up and speaking my mind about the issues that often get overlooked.

It is time we all do something different and make change happen. Together we can really make a difference in our local community but I can't do anything without your support!
